Thank you for your booking. Here’s what to expect! This is your reservation guest guide and contains important information you will want to keep handy throughout your trip. You should have already completed our guest check-in form, which is required and provides the terms of the rental agreement with links to applicable waivers.

Important Reminder: The cost for Safely is $49 for 1–29 nights, $249 for 30–59 nights, $319 for 60–89 nights, and $390 for 90–119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $49 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.

• For non-urgent matters, text the same number anytime or call Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:
• Early check-in and late check-out may not be available due to the cleaner’s schedule.
• Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are not provided.
• Washer and dryer are available for guest use.
• We provide basic household items including 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1–2 rolls of paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, and a small number of dishwasher pods and laundry detergent.
• A gas grill is available for guest use. A propane tank will be provided and must be refilled by the guest if needed. The tank must remain at the property after checkout.

HOUSE RULES:
• All events must be preapproved and require a signed event agreement, event fee, and proof of event insurance.
• No smoking of any kind on the property.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Daytime guests must leave during this time.
• Guests do not have access to the basement or any locked closets.
• Fireworks use is prohibited.
• Firewood is available for purchase on site.
• The hot tub cover has four clips that must be unlatched before opening.
• Do not feed the bears — remove all food, drinks, and trash from decks and outside areas after use.

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
• Return the key for the shed to the lockbox.
• Thermostat settings:
 – November–April: Set the cabin thermostat and lower-level shed/garage mini-split to heat/55°F.
 – May–October: Turn everything off.
 – The upper-level shed/garage mini-split should be turned off year-round.
• Turn off the upper-level fireplace.
• Remove all used sheets (not mattress pads) and place in a pile near the washer.
• Separate all towels into a second pile near the washer and start one load.
• Wash all beach towels prior to checkout.
• Do not leave dirty dishes.
• Tidy up garage and outdoor equipment.
• Clean out the fridge.
• Bring all trash to the curb.
• Add the premeasured Pool/Spa Shock to the hot tub, reduce temperature to 95°F, and ensure the cover is closed and secured.
• Leave the garage door opener on the counter.
• Turn off all lights.
• Lock all doors.

WIFI:
• Refer to your check-in instructions.

LINENS:
• All linens are provided.
• Please follow the checkout instructions regarding linens.

SMART TV:
• Smart TVs with basic cable are available at the property.

LAUNDRY:
• Onsite laundry is available.
• Please remove lint from the trap after each use.

FIREPLACE / OUTDOOR FIREPIT:
• A wood-burning fireplace is inside the house.
• An electric fireplace is located in the shed/garage bunkhouse.
• A fire pit is available out back. Please empty ashes and replace the cover before checkout. Firewood is available for purchase.

HOT TUB:
• Use the hot tub at your own risk. The renter agrees to use caution and is responsible for any damage.
• The hot tub is regularly inspected, refilled, and chemically adjusted by management.
• Guests must report any problems within 30 minutes of arrival and provide photo documentation to 231-631-5933.

HOT TUB RULES:
• Shower before use.
• You are using the hot tub at your own risk.
• No horseplay.
• Pregnant women, people with heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure, and the elderly must consult a doctor before use.
• Children are not advised to use the hot tub. If allowed, they must be supervised at all times.
• Never use the hot tub alone.
• Limit use to 15 minutes.
• No glass near the hot tub.
• Do not use the hot tub if the temperature exceeds 104°F.
• Alcohol or drug use increases the risk of drowning in high water temperatures.
• No oils, soaps, bubble bath, food, alcohol, or any foreign material in the hot tub. A $75 cleaning fee will apply for violations.
• Close the hot tub cover after each use.

DECK AND OUTDOOR SPACE:
• The large deck includes multiple chairs. Cushions are in the exterior closet.
• Outdoor games are in the garage.
• Return all cushions and games to their proper place and do not leave them outside.

PARKING:
• Parking is allowed in the driveway or garage.
• The garage door opener is located on hooks to the left of the door with the SmartLock.
• Maximum 6 vehicles allowed.

TRASH:
• All trash must be taken to the curb and placed in the receptacle.
• If you are unable to do this, notify management before checkout.
• Trash day is Wednesday at 7 a.m. Cans must be at the curb.

SMOKING AND FIREWORKS:
• Smoking and fireworks are not permitted anywhere on the property.
